Stephanie Yau is a junior studying neuroscience and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh on the pre-med track. After involvement in mental health organizations in high school, Stephanie has been passionate about helping people of color, specifically those in the Asian-American community, break the cultural stigma around mental health and advocate for more resources. Stephanie is a member of the Steve Fund Youth Ambassador Board, the Active Minds student advisory committee, and the Love is Respect youth council member. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys doing yoga, singing in her school’s choir, and exploring new places.
