Keris Jän Myrick is a Vice President of Partnerships and Innovation at Inseparable, Podcast host of Unapologetically Black Unicorns and serves on the Board of the Mental Health America (MHA) and the Disability Rights California (DRC).). Ms. Myrick has over 15 years of experience in mental health services innovation, transformation, peer workforce development and has authored peer reviewed articles and book chapters. She has held executive positions at local, federal, and national levels and was the Board President of NAMI. Ms. Myrick’s work, research and advocacy has focused on lived experience, peer workforce, digital therapeutics, and race equity.
Ms. Myrick is a Certified Personal Medicine Coach, has a M.S. in organizational psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology of Alliant University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
May is Mental Health Awareness month (and also Mother’s Day is in May) so this seems serendipitous that I should have this memory of my mom, my connection and belongingness to her and the hope she infused in me.
