I want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to our guest panelists, Francesca Miller (she/her) and Carol Jacob (she/her)! It was a pleasure to hear their experiences, insights, and opinions about occupational well-being.

For my top three takeaways from this episode, I would say that Francesca was really hitting it on the nail with the following tips:

1.     “Nobody knows the needs that we have, like we do.”

2.     “Demand your worth.”

3.     “The norm does not have to be the standard.”

When thinking about racism, microaggressions, and macroaggressions at the workplace, it was amazing to hear the validation that you know what, sometimes, it isn’t worth your energy.
